LISTEN We’ll be adding a new interior design podcast every week, including this episode. Just click play and you can hear the whole thing now!     A home can be updated with a few little touches, but sometimes you need to bring in the demolition crew and start from scratch.  Find it. Style it. founder and interior stylist Lauren Keenan worked with Kathleen to take advantage of the building’s lovely high ceilings, cornice details and great proportions and give her new home a light and bright feeling and that had a sense of fun, femininity and colour. It involved knocking out walls and completely re-making the kitchen and bathroom. They worked with Freedom Kitchens on the kitchen, which Kathleen is happy to endorse because she had a great experience with them. Taking out a wall meant Lauren got to play with a new open plan living room which features a specially commissioned Kristen Jackson artwork. Check it out and if you buy from her make sure to mention Find it. Style it. The bathroom was the final piece in this renovation puzzle. Measuring a very petite 1.7m x 2.2m, this space required a considered design to ensure it met the brief on both form and function.
