You know, we won a Logie every year for six consecutive careers,” he said. “But then moving into The Block was a whole other chapter in my career and it was after doing two seasons of The Block when it first began that I got a tap on the shoulder from Oprah and my US career started and I haven’t looked back since.”   You make your own luck and Jamie Durie has worked hard to build a big TV career in the United States hosting shows including The Outdoor Room and Outback Nation plus he’s appeared on dozens more well known programs including The Today Show on NBC and The Oprah Winfrey Show. He’s an accomplished horticulturist and landscape designer, winning awards all over the world for his work including a gold medal at the world famous Chelsea Flower Show.
