We all need a little luxury in our life right? What better place to start than your bedroom. I’m giving you all my top stylist tips for creating a luxe bedroom to lust over.

How to get the luxe look

Bedding and accessories are a great way to inject a luxurious vibe into a bedroom space. I like to keep the colour palette quite simple – moody blues and greys are a perfect starting point – and then add interest through texture. Look out for cushions and pillowcases in materials such as soft velvet, faux fur and french linen. Layering these different textures in similar tones will create a chic hotel-inspired bed. When it comes to furniture, choose classic styles with a contemporary twist. An upholstered bedhead is a must-have for a luxe bedroom space. Keep it neutral in colour but include features like tufting or pintucks for extra visual interest. For bedside tables, matte black or grey works beautifully in a luxe bedroom, especially when paired with metallic touches on the hardware such as a brass drawer knob. Decor accessories are really important in a luxe bedroom scheme as they act as the finishes touches to bring the space to life. Be sure to add candles, and a few bedside accessories in brass and marble. A statement artwork is also key. All of these hotels have made a great use of colour, texture and materials to create beautiful sleeping spaces. Luxe never looked so good!
