There’s no doubt that a well-placed houseplant looks great and can really help bring a room to life. But did you know there are also some great health benefits to using plants in your home.
Many house plants absorb Carbon Dioxide and release Oxygen to refresh the air, especially at night. Including plants like orchids and succulents in your bedroom can help you breathe easier while you sleep.
Grouping several plants together inside can help to increase humidity and kick dry skin, colds and dry coughs to the kerb. Try this is winter when the air is dry from heating.
It’s a sad fact that some of the synthetic decor pieces we bring into our homes release nasty toxins called Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Luckily plants can help to purify the air by removing these toxins.
If you’re not already convinced that house plants should be an essential element in your interior scheme they also help to increase concentration and reduce fatigue and blood pressure. Need we say more!
