It’s nice to be noticed – Find it. Style it. named finalist in Australia’s first podcast awards

24 March, 2017

Everyone loves a winner, but we reckon it’s nice sometimes just to be noticed. And it is so awesome to let you know that The Find it. Style it. Podcast has been named as a finalist in the first ever Australian Podcast Awards!

We founded The Find it. Style it. Podcast in 2016, making it Australia’s first podcast dedicated to interior design and home styling.

It’s so much fun to make for our listeners and we’ve been blown away by all of the messages and positive feedback we’re getting. It’s been a big first year. The show has achieved a five star rating on iTunes. It’s been downloaded by thousands of people across Australia and all over the world. And now our podcast has been listed as a finalist in the first ever Castaway Podcast Awards in the ‘industry focus’ category.

The winners are announced at an awards show in Sydney on 1 April. There were more than 200 shows that entered and to get down to the last three in our category is very cool. Each episode interior stylist Lauren Keenan talks about the latest interior design trends and how to make them work in your home. Plus she chats to designers, makers, retailers and interesting people who share their knowledge and expertise. Like Aussie TV legend and outdoor design guru Jamie Durie. Merivale collaborator and interior design trail blazer Amanda Talbot. And Mid-Century Modern buff (and radio royalty) Tim ‘Rosso’ Ross.

Lauren and her partner in podcasting (and in life), co-host Scott Keenan, both want to thank all of the guests that have joined us through the first year. We have some incredible production too, courtesy of the multiple award winning Sideshow Mike Anderson from Triple M in Sydney – so thanks for helping us to sound so slick Sidey!

And most of all thanks to our listeners (starting with family and friends who are our biggest supporters, through to the thousands of people tuning in around the world) for listening, loving interiors as much as Lauren and for buying in to our main motivation for the show which is to have fun and show how easy it can be to create a home you love.

If you still haven’t heard the show, you can find The Find it. Style it. Podcast in iTunes or your fav android podcast app by searching Find it. Style it.
