North perth home
west coast style online
We’d worked with these clients on a previous interior design project in Brisbane, and it was fantastic to be able to help them with their new family home in North Perth in Western Australian.
The home was a stunning 1940s detached house, with an abundance of original features in the front section. We were briefed to help transform the large, open plan living and dining space at the rear of the home. The room was very generously proportioned and it had fabulous bones including amazing natural light and gorgeous hard wood floors.
The clients wanted to create a relaxing and comfortable space where they could unwind after work and take in the views of the pool. They knew they really wanted to invest in a grey sofa that they could enjoy for many years to come. The Neo sofa from King Living was the perfect choice.
We introduced a soft and tranquil colour palette to work in with the grey sofa. Cushions featured colours like pale lilac, pink, off white, sea foam green, while a few pops of navy and teal provided some depth to the space. A textured light grey rug provides a great anchor for the living zone. Concrete and ceramic accessories were added for extra interest and complimented the colour scheme for the room.
The dining space featured and existing timber table. We paired it with black chairs in a durable fabric for a dose of contrast. An Ethnicraft oak sideboard provides ample storage and was a great way to display accessories and artworks from Adairs.
This is a great example of how e-styling can work. We provided these clients with a number of mood boards, along with a comprehensive shopping guide. They then took care of the purchases locally. We communicated via email and phone until the room was looking just perfect!
